We engaged Superior Granny Flats to build a small granny flat and unusually to also renovate concurrently a room that was an enclosed carport - attached to the existing house - and used as a spare storage room.The Granny Flat layout is based on affordable range Option 1 but built to their Superior Range standard. It comprises a large bedroom, more than big enough for a king bed, a bathroom - shower and toilet - with space for a washing machine and dryer and a walk-in-robe. The renovated room consists of one half being a kitchen with space for a fridge, sink, dishwasher, stove and microwave, ample bench space, in addition to cupboard space for pantry and cutlery etc. The other half of the room is a lounge area big enough for 2 recliner chairs and coffee table, a television and split system both mounted on the wall.We elected to do this approach as the size of the block of land was limited, but its location was great for access for shops, schools and transport. The end use was for us (2 people) to use the Granny Flat and the renovated room, the original main house being used by family (2 adults and 2 children).The result is high class. The finishes for both areas are exceptional, especially the internal room as it is unrecognisable from what it was. The team of trades that Superior Granny Flats have are all first rate and were at all times professional and fielded queries about the build.We are very happy with the end result and would highly recommend Superior Granny Flats for any of their wide range of Granny Flats.Peter and Julie

Would definitely recommend Superior Granny Flats! The whole process from the day we walked in, to handover was easy and we were looked after and consulted the whole time. Simon made the whole process easy and adjusted things along the was as we requested. Nothing was too hard! All the team worked so hard to finish the unit and have mum in before Christmas. We are really happy with the finished product and absolutely recommend Superior if you need that extra space.

Our experience with Superior Granny Flats was seamless. Once council planning permits were issued the communication with the team and length of time to implement the build and finishing was very quick. They were happy for me to suggest changes to the colour and finishes. We are extremely happy with the end result.
